We are distressed to notify you of the suspension of UIC ATU mobile AT services to those who served thru support from IL-DHS-Division of Developmental Disabilities, effective April 30, 2016.
The UIC ATU Mobil AT was not in the DDD FY2016 budget, and while they advocated for the ATU to be included in an eventual FY2016 budget, they were unsuccessful. UIC has provided services to individuals with developmental disabilities thus far by drawing from tuition and other resources, but those resources are now exhausted.
Full access to ATU mobile services by clients of IL-DHS-DRS Home Services and Voc Rehab remains in place. And for clients referred to us by the Colbert Consent Decree.
