Today at the Executive Forum, we met with John Kamis, Senior advisor to Governor Pat Quinn on the Budgeting for Results Commisson. John is the lead staff person for the Commission. He walked us through the purpose of the Commission and funding priorities. It is important to note that the Commission states that one of the outcomes for disability services is “living in the least restrictive setting.”Here is the Governor’s Press Release on the Commissions first report which was released today.
