I have been telling people that the grants to respite, dental and others were going to be restored but when the House cut further, I knew it was going to be harder for Director Casey and his team. Good for you Director!I got the memo from Director Casey late Friday afternoon.

I am pleased to inform you that there will be no cuts in DD grants at this time. Those grants which have specific line items in the passed budget will be funded at the legislative amount or the Governor’s introduced amount. All others will be funded at last year amounts. Contracts should be available by close of business today, Monday at the latest.
As always, this is dependent on the budget being submitted to the Governor and his signing of that budget.
