The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS or Department) Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is issuing a Notice of Funding Opportunity funded by the Balancing Incentive Program with the intent to increase the number of individuals with I/DD working in individualized, competitive integrated employment and to expand the state’s capacity and expertise to provide individualized competitive, integrated employment services and supports to individuals with I/DD. The DDD intends to use the results of this NOFO process to award up to $3.0 million in grant funds to successfully place at least 200 individuals with I/DD into individualized competitive integrated employment.
