Wednesday night Speaker Madigan introduced a major appropriations bill funding colleges, universities, human services including The Arc’s Life Span Grant and The Autism Program and other grants.

The bill, House Bill 2990 passed the House yesterday and now moves to the Senate. The bill will be vetoed by the Governor but could pave the way for some possible agreement after the March 15th primary elections.

The good news here is that Life Span and TAP continue to be in the mix of things whenever appropriations are introduced.
