The Life Choices Project, which is an investment of the Illinois Council on
Developmental Disabilities, is going to recommend some important changes in the
Developmental Disability System next week. The project brings together national
experts, staff from the Division of Developmental Disabilities, the Council and
advocates moving our system to a Person Centered System advocating for the
individual.
I thought you would be interested in some of the recommendations to be made
next week to Director Casey and the Division.
Background information on the Life Choices Project follows.
