The Dept of Human Services is moving quickly to meet the noon deadline set by
Judge Coleman.
Another memo from the Division of Developmental Disabilities below sent last
night.

Another update from what we know today:
HFS did initiate vouchers for just under $2M in ICF/DD claims last night.
DHS has authorized HFS to initiate additional ICF/DD vouchers tonight—
the limitations on the total that may be initiated are $5M for residential and
$2.5M for the day programs.
DHS has authorized HFS to initiate further ICF/DD vouchers on Friday
evening—the limitations on that total are $12M for residential and $7M for
day programs.
We have switched to FY16 funds for the ICF/DD vouchers. It is our
understanding it can take a couple of days through the computer systems
from the time HFS initiates the ICF/DD vouchers until they are received by
the Office of the Comptroller.
At this time, we cannot confirm any new activity with regard to the
approximately $47M for community services with vouchers pending at the
Office of the Comptroller. We know providers are closely monitoring the
Comptroller’s system for the latest status of their payments.
