On 6/15/2012, HFS sent notice that policy on Medicaid coverage for Incontinence Supplies would change as of 7/1/2012. Desire for stricter control over the supplies has resulted in changes that include the following:

  • Minimum patient age for incontinence supplies has been changed for all codes to age 4
  • Number of supplies per 30 day period has been limited to 200 for most codes
  • A maximum age of 99 has been implemented

This change impacts children under four who are no longer eligible for incontinence supplies through All Kids. The top age limit has also been set at 99. The number of products available per month is changing from 300 (for most codes) to 200.
