The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DHS/DDD)
is committed to promoting the integration and inclusion of people with developmental
disabilities into their local communities by ensuring they receive the services and supports
they need to lead fulfilling and productive lives in those communities. At times, individuals,
and the providers serving them, experience issues that jeopardize the continuation of their
community-based services.
Accordingly, the Division of Developmental Disabilities has posted a Request for Applications
(RFA) to seek proposals to provide 24-Hour Stabilization Services for adults 18 or older in a
temporary home, with services and supports to allow the individual to return to his or her home
or an appropriate alternative. The Division intends to fund four, four-person homes to deliver
these stabilization services.
Information regarding this Request for Applications can be found at
www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=49141. Interested parties are encouraged to review the
RFA. Feel free to share this notice with others.
Applications must be received by 2:00 p.m. central time, July 31, 2015.
