VOTING: Exercising my Rights!
A Community Research Training for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
The Department of Disability and Human Development at University of Illinois at Chicago is holding a research study where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) learn about voting, and participate in research about their voting knowledge.
This event will include presentations and group discussions to prepare participants for voting in the 2016 general election. After voting in the November election participants will meet again to discuss their experiences.
When? October 3, 2016, 9am-3:30pm & November 11, 2016 9:30-11:30am
How Much? Free! Participation will include lunch and participants will get $30 at each session to help pay for transportation and time.
