The Arc of Illinois Board of Director’s met in retreat this past weekend to lay out their advocacy agenda for the next year. Things are moving quickly and rebalancing is becoming a reality according to Arc President Brian Rubin. The new strategic plan will create five ad hoc committees to focus our work on important priority areas. Those committees will be:
Rebalancing (including Ligas and the Waiting List)
Managed Care Phase 3
Employment First
Family Leadership (Partners in Policy Making)
Integrated Community Supports
