We had an excellent webinar today for our Executive Forum with Marty Ford, Director of Public Policy for The Arc of the United States, and Julie Ward. Their topic was a Washington, D.C. update on disability issues facing the country. Now that the election is over and the Supreme Court has ruled about the Affordable Care Act, serious discussions are underway that pose major threats to disability programs such as cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Special Education, Housing and more. Here is a link to their PowerPoint presentation: Washington Update.
