Special Needs Alliance and The Arc Form Partnership
The Special Needs Alliance (SNA), a national non-profit comprised of attorneys who
assist individuals with special needs, their families and the professionals who serve
them, has formed a partnership with The Arc. As The Arc begins to implement its new
initiative to help chapter’s secure major donors and planned gifts, this partnership will
be an important new resource for members and families. At the national, state and
local level, we want the families we serve to be able to find and trust attorneys in their
local communities that are expert in the unique needs of people with disabilities and
their families that makes estate planning particularly crucial. Many SNA members are
already active in state and local Arc chapters. Others may wish to join and to volunteer
their time. Perhaps you are looking for new talent for your local boards. Interested?

Attorney Brian Rubin serves on the Board of Directors of the Special Needs Alliance,
is President of The Arc of Illinois, and serves on the Board of Pact, Inc., an Arc Chapter,
the PAS/ISC Agent for DuPage County, which often serves as Guardian and/or Trustee
of individuals with IDD..
