Autism NOW, The National Resource and Information Center, a national initiative of The Arc funded by a grant from The Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD), would like to offer you some FREE resources which you can use to introduce www.autismnow.orgto your community.Autism NOW is a dynamic, interactive, effective and highly visible central point of quality resources and information for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, their families, caregivers and others interested in issues related to ASD. If your chapter serves individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, you should make them aware of these valuable resources.
Please take a few moments to explore www.autismnow.org, then let us know if you would like some free materials which you can distribute to the people you serve. Contact Jenny Sladen via email to request the quantities you need. We can offer you up to 750 brochures, 25 posters and 600 magnets.
What’s Available?
- Brochures: we can send you a quantity of informative brochures which you can put out in your reception area, include in mailings to individuals and families dealing with ASD or other developmental disabilities, or distribute at upcoming events.
- Posters: hang these in your office, at community centers, libraries, schools or anywhere else where they might be seen by individuals and families who can benefit from Autism NOW’s resources.
- Magnets: we can send you these items as giveaways to guests to your office, at events, to the people you serve, or in any other appropriate setting to help encourage awareness of www.autismnow.org. (NOTE: the magnets are heavy, so please only request the precise number you need to reduce shipping costs)
In addition to these free resources, you can take advantage of an online toolkit with similar materials including cut-and-paste copy for press releases and newsletter articles about Autism NOW, a button you can put on your website linking back to www.autismnow.org, FAQ sheets, PDF versions of the printed materials and more.
