It is certainly a bittersweet message that I share with you this morning that Mary Lynne Paris will be retiring. Mary Lynne and I have worked together for 35 years. She has been a friend, confidant and so much more. We have seen our families grow and now share the joy of being Grandparents. Her work at The Arc has been so much more that just work. She has a passion for our mission here at The Arc.
I for one will miss her dearly.
Godspeed good friend.
See her letter below.
I am pleased to share with you that our new Business Manager is Sharon Lenza. Sharon and her family reside in Joliet. Sharon brings excellent expertise having worked in business, non-profits and schools in accounting for many years. She recently completed her Bachelors degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Benedictine University.
We warmly welcome Sharon to The Arc Team.
Tony
I want to let you know that I have finally decided to retire at the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2016.
This was not an easy decision because The Arc has been an important part of my life, both locally and on the state level, for 35 years.
While I will miss everyone and the wonderful work that we do each and every day, I feel that this is the right time to move on to the next stage of my life and take time for my family.
I have sincerely appreciated the association I have had with each of you over the past years. It has been my pleasure to work with such a wonderful Board of Directors and my fellow staff. All of you have always impressed me with your passion and insight.
I may be retiring, but The Arc and its mission will always be a part of me.
Thank you!
Mary Lynne Paris
