Over the weekend the Executive Committee of The Arc met with candidates for the position of Executive Director of The Arc of Illinois. This is the second round of interviews.
Today, The Arc of Illinois Board of Directors meets for its regular board meeting which will include discussion on the candidates, The Arc budget and the Life Span Grant.
Tomorrow, the production crew of the Going Home Videos meets to celebrate the finalization of this important project. The project funded by a grant from the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities produced six outstanding success stories of individuals moving from state institutions into the community. The crew also produced a remarkable documentary which all advocates should see. See the Going Home Videos here.
