Advocacy is alive and well within the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities. I had the pleasure of meeting with Director Kimberly Mercer-Schleider to discuss her new role with the Council. Kimberly brings leadership, vision and strong core values as you would expect. She has hit the road running meeting with leaders around the state.
