Today, The Arc has called a meeting to discuss automatic Medicaid eligibility for
young adults on SSI with Secretary Saddler and Director Hamos.

It was a spirited discussion questioning the Illinois and national movement
of community services/supports moving towards managed care.
Wednesday, The Alliance for Health Steering Committee met to review the
work and recommendations of the various
Work Groups on the 1115 Medicaid Transformation Waiver.

The Governor’s Office is also holding bi-weekly meetings with the Centers for
Medicare & Medicaid on the 1115 Waiver which is on a fast track. This
