I incorrectly reported to you yesterday in my report to you on the budget that there were no
cuts to community services. There is a 2.25% cuts for services in the Dept of Human Services.
The Dept of Human Services budget passed the House of Representatives yesterday by a
vote of 66 to 49. See how your legislator voted by going to this link HOW THEY VOTED. A
yes vote is a vote you want to see. The DHS Budget now moves on to the Senate. Ask your
Senator to support and vote yes on House Bill 4165.
In other news, the Down Syndrome Information Act passed out of the Senate by a vote of 58
to 0! The bill is now on to the Governor!
