DESCRIPTION:In this interactive session\, participants will learn practical ways of supporting students with autism spectrum labels & other disabilities. Topics addressed include defining (and redefining) autism\, listening to the voices of autistic children\, and seeing inclusion as a process. Practical strategies will be provided including several relating to communication and social skill development (e.g.\, gaze avoidance)\, teaching to special interests\, and movement.
