Cheryl representa a solicitantes en casos de tutela\, administra los Servicios Pro Se de Tutela de en el Condado de Cook (Centro Daley) y supervisa los Talleres de Tutela y Poderes Notariales. A lo largo de su carrera jurídica\, Cheryl ha sido abogada de apelaciones en la Oficina del Defensor Público del Condado de Cook\, redactora para un bufete nacional y profesora adjunta de la facultad de derecho. \nCarmen Ontiveros se incorporó a CDEL en agosto de 2024 como asistente legal bilingüe en español.
