DESCRIPTION:Presenter: Georgia Gerdes\, Avisery \nDescription: This webinar will provide a clear overview of Medicare and Medicaid\, helping families understand eligibility requirements\, the enrollment process\, covered services\, and available coverage options. Participants will also learn about benefit programs that may help pay for Medicare-related costs. By the end of the webinar\, families will have the knowledge needed to make informed decisions and better navigate their child’s healthcare benefits. \nGeorgia joined the AgeOptions\, the Agency of Aging for suburban Cook County in 2007\, focusing on building community programs that educate both beneficiaries and professionals about Medicare and other health benefit programs. She currently works with the Avisery program\, providing training and guidance to professionals across Illinois on Medicare\, Medicaid\, and public benefits. Passionate about helping older adults and adults with disabilities navigate their healthcare options\, Georgia is dedicated to ensuring individuals access coverage that best meets their needs.
