Ha estado trabajando en el área de discapacidad por cinco años. Adicionalmente ha trabajado en varios servicios gubernamental estatales y federales que benefician a la comunidad latina e inmigrantes. \nDra Mariana Garcia – Post Doctoral Fellow Ella es Doctora en Estudios de Discapacidad de la Universidad de Illinois en Chicago. Mariana es colombiana y tiene una Maestría en Psicología. Ha trabajado y dirigido investigaciones en la educación de Padres por más de 5 años. Adicionalmente\, ha trabajado en el área investigativa en el centro de los Grandes Lagos de la ADA por dos años. \n  \nLas Redes Nacionales de la ADA se componen de diez centros regionales que ofrecen información\, entrenamientos y asistencia técnica a los empleadores\, las personas con discapacidad\, y otras entidades con responsabilidades en virtud de la ley ADA. Los centros actúan como una amplia “fuente única” de recursos relacionados a la ley ADA que abarca temas sobre empleo\, los servicios de gobiernos estatales y locales\, establecimientos de servicio público.
