DESCRIPTION:Please join the Illinois Life Span Program of The Arc of Illinois for our March 2021 webinar. An Overview of Equip for Equality will be presented by Barry C. Taylor\, Vice President for Civil Rights and Systemic Litigation and Olga Pribyl\, Vice President for Special Education and Pro Bono Services. \nEquip for Equality is a non-profit organization\, and since 1985 has been designated by the Governor to serve as the Protection and Advocacy agency for people with disabilities in Illinois. Barry and Olga will be providing information about Equip for Equality’s work on behalf of people with disabilities in Illinois\, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They will highlight Equip for Equality’s work in five priority areas: Abuse and Neglect\, Special Education\, Community Integration\, Discrimination\, and Self-Determination. \nThis webinar is scheduled  from Noon to 1:00 PM.
