DESCRIPTION:In this presentation\, participants will gain insight into the issues and challenges of a family member (sibling) attempting to take care of an adult member with disability while other members of the household adjust to life changes\, such as careers\, retirement\, immigration & citizenship\, and senior citizen health care systems. \nPresenter: Miss Gissel Escobedo. Miss Escobedo holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the College of Education at University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a LEND Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) graduate. She has worked for 9 nine years as an elementary school teacher.
