DESCRIPTION:Speaker:  William Bogdan\, Disability Liaison Illinois Secretary of State \nCome and Learn about some of the programs and services offered by the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office. \n\nThe  Parking Program for Persons with Disabilities\nIllinois Disabled Identification Card\nReal ID Card\nEmergency Contact Database\nIllinois Talking Books Program\n\nWilliam Bogdan serves as the disability liaison to Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White\, and is responsible for the coordination\, development\, and implementation of programs and services for persons with disabilities for the office.  He also works on legislative issues pertaining to persons with disabilities\, and addresses accessibility concerns\, and issues impacting the issuance of driver’s licenses to persons with disabilities who use adaptive equipment. \nBill has been appointed as Chair of the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities by Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. The Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities works on a wide range of programs to help improve the opportunities people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are afforded including education\, employment\, transportation\, community living\, and health care.
