The Arc of Illinois is launching a new campaign to purchase more tablets, software,
laptops and other devices for children and adults with special needs that depend on
technology. These families cannot afford to purchase the devices on their own. It
would be great if you could help us!

We started The Arc of Illinois Assistive Technology Program in January, 2015,
and have already purchased assistive technology for nearly 200 individuals with
special needs. The goal of The Arc of Illinois Assistive Technology Program is to
enhance and improve the quality of life for persons with intellectual/developmental
disabilities by providing opportunities for individuals to receive technology to help
with education, employment, community living and independence. With today’s
technology, there are assistive features on devices like iPads that can really
improve learning for students with special needs.

When you donate to The Arc of Illinois Assistive Technology Program, you’ll help The
Arc provide the devices to nearly 300 individuals with special needs that are on our
waiting list. We need help to continue and reach our goal of helping everyone on the
waiting list. These devices have opened a whole new world for many!

100% of the proceeds to The Arc of Illinois will be used to purchase the
tablets, software and other devices for children and adults with special needs!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations made to The Arc of Illinois
are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Thank you for caring about the lack of funding for families that need assistive
technology and cannot afford to purchase an iPad or other devices on their own.

Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please share this on Facebook and Twitter!
We hope you can help!
