Thanks to those who responded and are willing to offer insights about legislative and administrative changes needed to improve access to employment.  Our focus will be two fold:

  1. What is needed to help to support agencies shifting people away from subminimum wage?
  2. What is needed to improve capacity and increase supported employment opportunities for people with all abilities?
  3. What is needed for agencies to adequately be able to address the needs of transition age youth?

My hope this work group would be to craft a series of proposals to present to the larger executive forum and then implement in the Fall and Spring.  If you or someone for your organization like to participation, please email me.
