Hosted by Family Matters Parent Training & Information Center

This training will provide an overview of services available through the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS), Centers for Independent Living (CILS) and the Client Assistance Program (CAP) now housed at Equip for Equality. Emily was a Skadden fellow at Equip for Equality with a project focused on addressing transition issues for students with disabilities. Emily has a background in education and special education advocacy. She has advocated for students with disabilities in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. Prior to law school, Emily was a middle school math teacher and earned her Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico.
