Family Matters is seeking volunteers in all counties
of the state to act as Educational Surrogate Parents
at IEP meetings for students with disabilities who
are children in care of the state or who do not have a
parent who can legally represent them at special
education meetings.
Interested volunteers must complete a six-hour training. If you are interested but
cannot attend any of the training options below, call Family Matters’ office to be notified of
future training events at other locations.
