Megan Mutti – Executive Director of Family Matters Parent Training Center
Megan was most recently a member of the Family Advocate Team at the Arc of Illinois. Megan is a 2023 graduate of the Illinois Partners in Policymaking Program and a 2020 graduate of the LEND Program at UIC, where she participated as a Family Fellow. Megan is a Charting the LifeCourse Ambassador and a strong proponent of effective person-centered planning practices. Megan’s areas of interest include secondary transition, family engagement in the educational system, and developmental disability system navigation.
Karrie Potter, Educational Support Coach
Ms. Potter is an Educational Support Coach at Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center, where she has served families in 94 Illinois counties since 2005. She brings over 20 years of professional experience supporting families navigating special education systems, along with 24 years as a parent of an adult child with a disability.
