The Chicagoland Autism Connection (CAC) is a not-for profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to increase autism awareness and acceptance and to improve the quality of life for all persons living with autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities. Since 1997 the CAC has touched hundreds of families by providing training, resources, social/recreational outings and respite care an peer mentoring for families living with Autism.
We are responsible for addressing barriers facing parents, professionals and providers when trying to get needed services for youth with a behavior disorder or a severe emotional disturbance.
Mission: Our mission is to promote a network of resources for Illinois youth with social and emotional health conditions to receive timely and appropriate access to the services they deserve.
Vision: Our vision is that every youth in Illinois shall be socially and emotionally healthy enough to have the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential and participate in developing their identity and role in society.
We support families seeking services through education (IEP/504 support), therapeutic and residential settings in the State of Illinois for ages 3-21.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive resources &/or referrals in regard to recreation, education, health (mental & physical), social & daily living skills, & behavioral intervention to adults with mild to profound, intellectual disabilities ages 20 & up by focusing on their individualized areas of need through a parent & client-centered approach. Supporting intellectually disabled adults & their parents in their individualized areas of need every step of the way.
To support our children, The Answer Inc is committed to providing education to the communities that we serve. We provide First Responder Trainings, Municipal Staff Trainings, and Anti-Bullying Workshops and Seminars. Together, we all can make a difference.
