Are you interested in working (or are you already working) and want to learn how employment affects your government benefits? Would you like information on how work incentives such as Impairment Related Work Expenses (IRWE), Health Benefits for Workers with Disabilities (HBWD), and the Student Earned Income Exclusion (SEIE) can help save you money? If so, then this is the seminar for you!

Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) is a federally funded program of the Social Security Administration (SSA) created to help individuals receiving SSI/SSDI make informed choices about being employed. The Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) provides WIPA services to 67 counties in Illinois through a cooperative agreement with the SSA.
