Establishing preparedness communication plans for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), team, families, and community. Providing an inside look at one agency’s approach to multiple modalities and universal messaging for unique audiences.

Presenters

Maggie Hassler is the Director of Executive Communications at Aspire. Prior to joining Aspire, Maggie co-founded a startup for forward-thinkers and purpose-driven companies to refine their message and get media coverage. She promoted and supported the conservation efforts of Shedd Aquarium, including securing news coverage in The New York Times, and she researched trade trends for HSBC’s Public Affairs Group Asia Pacific Headquarters.
