Georgia joined the AgeOptions, the Agency of Aging for suburban Cook County in 2007, focusing on building community programs that educate both beneficiaries and professionals about Medicare and other health benefit programs. She currently works with the Avisery program, providing training and guidance to professionals across Illinois on Medicare, Medicaid, and public benefits. Passionate about helping older adults and adults with disabilities navigate their healthcare options, Georgia is dedicated to ensuring individuals access coverage that best meets their needs. Georgia graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in English and is an AmeriCorps VISTA Alum.
