The audience will learn about
- Where parents can find info – Learn the Signs, Act Early through developmental checklists that can help them notice differences in their child’s development and understand where supports are needed: https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/actearly/milestones/index.html
- Where a parent with a child (whether the child had EI or not) can obtain free screen for possible Developmental Delays (DD) – statewide locations.
- The importance of early childhood education (that a child does not need to be potty trained if they have an IEP) and that the school district should cover transport back to child care after school.
