Join us for the first part of our Legislative Advocacy Series to learn more about voter education and the registration process!
Our guest speaker for this session is Missy Norman (she/her), President of the League of Women Voters of the Springfield area.
The mission of LWVSA is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government and to act on selected governmental issues. Missy has worked both professionally and personally in disability advocacy and legislative advocacy for over 20 years. Missy believes that every issue needs to be seen through a disability lens to be truly inclusive and that everyone should have equitable access to voting and civic engagement.
