Social Security is with you through life’s journey. This presentation will provide information on Social Security benefits and programs including:

Josephine Mueller is a Spanish Bilingual Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration (SSA) in the Chicagoland area. Josephine has embraced her critical role for informing the public about Social Security programs and benefits. Her passion for sharing information has provided her a platform on Chicago Access Live Television Network for several years and you can find her on you tube. This platform has given her the opportunity to promote Social Security Programs throughout Chicagoland and Nationwide.

Her many interests include community engagement, education, and motivating younger generations to exceed in their educational and professional careers. She has a passion for diversity and public speaking.

Josephine Mueller earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Governors State University. She has a passion for diversity and public speaking.

This passion has led her to a career within Social Security as a Bilingual Public Affairs Specialist, in the Chicagoland area. Josephine has embraced her critical role for informing the public about Social Security programs and benefits. Daniel Summer earned a Master of Arts in Human Behavior from Valparaiso University. Originally a Theater major with a flair for the dramatic, he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University.

His experience as a college professor and as a therapist enhance his career with the Social Security Administration. In June 2019, Daniel published his first book.

Daniel has been with the Social Security Administration for 15 years and has taken all manner of Social Security Claims from disability to retirement, SSI, widow’s claims, children’s cases and the like.

In his current position as a Public Affairs Specialist, Daniel provides information about Social Security to the public via lectures, radio, newspaper and cable access TV. He is available for seminars and can be reached via email at Daniel.Summer@ssa.gov.
