Ron Clewer, Illinois Market President of Gorman & Company Developers
Ron Clewer joined Gorman & Company after collaborating on several projects with the organization as the CEO of Rockford Housing Authority. Ron has more than 20 years of leadership experience and over 20 years of multi-use real estate development and asset management experience.
Ron has been instrumental in developing creative community-building initiatives across the Midwest. He brings a vision and “can do” attitude to his work with a determination to merge the best practices for both private and public sectors to develop affordable housing that addresses the social determinants of health. His passion lies in quality: design, services, and environments.
Ron earned his degree in Business Administration from Benedictine University and holds an Executive Leadership certificate through a partnership between the University of Michigan and the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities.
Donielle Deering, parent stakeholder and mother to an adult daughter with autism
Donielle Deering had the vision of a sustainable, affordable, supportive community for those with IDD. She approached Kim Zoeller at Ray Graham Assoc who has been on board with the project since day one. Ray Graham Association will provide the supports for the group’s loved ones when they are residents in the building. The other superhero on the team is Ron Clewer, a developer at Gorman and Co who knows the ins and outs of affordable housing. Donielle is the mother of a 28-year-old daughter with autism.
Kim Zoeller, President and CEO of Ray Graham Association and Arc of Illinois board member
Kim Zoeller, serving as the President & CEO at Ray Graham Association since 2010, has been a part of the organization since 1994. Her leadership has significantly expanded RGA’s services, now supporting over 2,000 individuals with disabilities. Kim’s strategic vision and commitment are focused on empowering these individuals to achieve their goals and dreams. Her work ensures that RGA continues to provide innovative and individualized support, enhancing the lives of those served.
Kim Zoeller’s advocacy extends well beyond her role at RGA. As the Secretary of the Board and managing board member for Life’s Plan, Inc., she plays a crucial role in guiding the organization. Her leadership positions as Board Chair for the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (IARF), Vice Chair for The Arc of Illinois, and Treasurer for the Institute on Public Policy for People with Disabilities, allow her to influence policies and service development at multiple levels. A founding member of They Deserve More, Kim is a staunch advocate for improved support and services for individuals with disabilities, significantly impacting their quality of life and access to opportunities.
