Topic: Documenting Transition Plans & Services in the IEP
You are invited to join monthly virtual meetings of parents of high school aged youth who are eligible for special education services to share stories and ideas. The meetings will be an opportunity to ask questions about transition-related issues. Family Matters will provide information on transition-related topics and parents will have an open discussion on issues related to transition-age assessments of students, courses of study in high school, securing opportunities to learn job skills, soft skills that are vital to obtaining and maintaining employment, community living, and more.
